Learn how to create your own box of delicious chocolate truffles with organic rose and chocolate. Create a special keepsake box decorated with natural materials and dried flowers. $40

Easter Egg Hunt-Saturday April 4th 2015, 10:00am-12:00pm                                                                     

Bring your children on the "bestest" Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor. Bring your camera! Follow Peter Rabbit through the trails and around the pond to find lots of candy and prizes. Bring an Easter basket     $5 per child

Kids learn how plants grow and interact with themed gardening activities about Living Communities, Plant Parts, Pollination and Nature Recycling. Take something home each class. Hear the story of Peter Rabbit and learn how to take care of your freshly made planter. Finish your planter with a mini wooden post and a picture of Peter.  $30

Make your own miniature house for the wee ones to inhabit. Make your house with natural materials on a tree slab. $25

Learn about different varieties and uses of lavender during the peak season. Make an 8" lavender wreath, lavender sachet and take home your own lavender plant. $45

Citrus Class- Saturday July 18th 10:00am-12:00pm 

Learn about dwarf citrus and how easy they are to care for. Pick out your own citrus tree to take home, Sample 2 citrus dishes. $60

The Power of Greens- Saturday July 25th 10:00am-1:00pm 

Learn how powerful greens are as you sample different recipes made fresh from our garden. Learn how greens help fight chronic disease such as arthritis, heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes. Take home recipes and plants.  Sample several dishes made fresh from the garden. $40

August 2015 

The Call of the Wild- Saturday August 1st 10:00am-12:00pm

Forage for wild edibles and take home recipes to cook from the wild. Plants like dandelions, lambsquarters, & black cherries should help create some of the dishes we will enjoy in class. $40

Walking In a Christmas Wonderland

November 27th - December 19th Fridays and Saturdays 4:30pm-7:30pm  

Walk through our lighted gardens and different scenes of Christmas. New displays throughout the gardens. Santa is in the cabin. Hot chocolate awaits you in the barn after a cold winter's walk.

Make a 10" dried Christmas wreath with symbolic herbs. Silver king, boxwood, juniper, celosia, sage, rosemary, thyme, gilded holly and others. $30

December 2015

Christmas Tea- Tuesday December 1st and Wednesday December 9th 6:30pm-8:30pm

 English Cream Tea by candlelight in our cabin or glass gazebo. A lecture on the symbolic herbs and greens of Christmas is included.  $25                                                                                                                       

Christmas Porch Arrangement- Wednesday December 2nd 6:30pm-8:30pm

Greet visitors with a showy arrangement on your porch. Start with a pot of soil and add your evergreens, magnolia, red winter berries, glittered hydrangeas and white sticks. Lasts all winter. $30

Table Centerpiece with Taper Candle-Thursday December 3rd 6:30pm-8:30pm

Use evergreens, berries and sparkly pine cones to make a tabletop arrangement.  Great focal point for your Holiday table! $35

Evergreen Wreath Workshop-Saturday December 5th 10:00am-12:00pm

Use a variety of evergreens and berries to fashion a wreath for your front door. Includes many varieties of pines, juniper, holly and winter berry. $30

Williamsburg Mantle Arrangement- Saturday December 5th 3:00pm-5:00pm

Create a beautiful focal point for your holiday table or mantle made of various hollies, evergreens, magnolia, berries and faux fruit. $40

Fresh Tabletop Boxwood and Evergreen Tree- Tuesday December 8th 6:30pm-8:30pm

Make a 16" tabletop evergreen tree on a ceramic base and finish it with berries and glass balls. $40

Amaryllis Planter- Thursday December 10th 6:30pm-8:30pm

Great long lasting decoration for your house. Start with a potted multi-blooming amaryllis (in bud) add a potted poinsettia, evergreens, berries and a bow. $50

Sparkly Winter Wonderland Wreath- Saturday December 12th 10:00am-12:00pm
