Vegetable Gardening 101~    Learn the how to start your own veggie garden, the organic way! Start in the Spring with seeding and planting, move on to fertilizing and organic pest treatments and proper harvesting.                              

8 1 hour Sessions on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm                                                      April 5th, May 3rd, 17th, 31st, June 14th, July 5th, 12th & August 2nd. $60

                                                   

 

May 2016

Mother's Day Flower Workshop~ Make a beautiful flower arrangement in one of our handmade wooden boxes. Tour our gardens and harvest some fresh blooms. Spring bulbs, lilacs, roses, spring branches, lily of the valley and other fragrant flowers!

Saturday May 7th 10am-12pm $50

Mother's Day English Tea~ Sit amidst the gardens or in our pond side gazebo or our flower pavilion and enjoy a delicious English Tea. Enjoy scones, two savories, 2 desserts and three teas. Tour our lovely gardens and take home a seasonal favor.

Sedum Wall Wreath~ Make a coco lined wreath filled with sedums. Perfect for a front door or sunny fence. Easy to maintain.

Native Plant Walk & Identification~Tour the farm and walk the trails as you identify native plants. Learn how to care for native plants and learn how beneficial they are for our ecosystem. Take home some native plants for your garden.

Spring Flower Workshop~ Celebrate Spring by touring our fields and gardens, cut some flowers and compose some beautiful arrangements

Rose Tour & Tea~ Celebrate the fragrant old fashioned rose! Tour our rose gardens as you sip rose punch and learn how to care for them in an organic fashion. Enjoy a rose themed luncheon at our pond side pavilion.

Herbal Medicine~Learn the basics of herbal medicine as we harvest herbs to make teas, salves and tinctures. 4 session class.

Honey, I Shrunk the Garden~Make a terrarium complete with miniature plants, pebbles, natural  materials and miniature decor.

July 2016

Love of Lavender~Spend the afternoon at Willow Oak touring our lavender field during peak season. Make an 8" lavender wreath, a fragrant sachet and pick out a lavender plant as you sample some lavender lemonade!

A Flowery Afternoon~Tour our cutting fields and harvest fresh flowers and greenery to make your own arrangements. Our gardens and fields will be in peak season! Make a fresh drying wreath, flower filled mason jar and a beautiful flower bracelet. Light refreshments will be served in our garden pavilion.

Farm to Table Luncheon~ Come tour the gardens while you sip lavender lemonade, and eat a garden fresh lunch at our pavilion.

Late Summer English TeaEnjoy an English Teas served in our gazebo, cozy cabin or flowery pavilion.

Mixed Herb Wreath~ Use freshly harvest herbs and a few flowers to make a fresh wreath that will dry very well.

Dried Flower Wall Arrangement~Our cutting gardens are full of everlastings, perfect for making dried arrangements! Create your own front door or wall hanging display.

October 2016

Fall English Tea~ Enjoy an English Tea in our gardens, pavilion  or cozy cabin.  Relax and watch the leaves turn.

Harvest Wreath~Choose from freshly harvested everlastings and herbs to create a beautiful 12" wreath. Lasts for years out of direct light.

Saturday October 15th 10am-12:30pm $55

Fall Harvest Day~ Free fun! Enjoy a hayride, sample some fall treats, picnic by the pond and games.                                                                                           Pumpkin patch - pick a pumpkin and paint it $5
